Deposit refund excuses from Afhco

I had been staying at an Afhco building for over 2 years. I put in 1 month's notice so that I could move out on 31 December and I did. I left the apartment spot clean. They said it takes 7-14 working days to get the deposit. I still have not received my deposit and it has been 28 days and they are still giving me excuses. I have been calling for weeks each time they say next week or they will check. This is so unacceptable. 2 days late we can understand, but a whole additional 14 days is disgusting from a huge company like yours.
