Bank charges that cannot be explained

<p>I moved into one of Afhco buildings 5 months ago. For the past 5 months my statement has been coming back with interests and balances I don't know of. I called customer services first time they said they will get back to me but did not then I called the 2nd time and I was told my call forwarded to finance and that they will call me but they never did..</p> <p>I have been paying the balance that I know of since no one was willing to explain to me what the balance was for.</p> <p>At the end of June my statement came back with a balance brought forward amount,speedpoint charge of R179 and interest.I called and no one assisted me..I got a letter saying I owe Afhco and that I should call Salome .I spoke to her and she told me she does not understand why they were charging me because I have been paying on time and I am using internet banking. At the end she told me she will clear it.</p> <p>When the July statement came back it had the same charges and interests .I called Salome again and she told me that the charges are from January before I signed my contract. They are charging me for swiping at their premises even though they did not tell me about the charges. If clients are swiping at their premises the least they could do is to tell them about the charges. how do they charge me whereas they did not tell me about it? So one swipes first and then told about charges later? All these times they couldn't explain what the charges are for until they accrued interest?</p> <p>I will be moving out and I expect my deposit back. There is so much dishonesty and terrible customer service.</p>
