AFHCO rental mess
My husband and I are currently renting a flat in Jabulani Mews under AFHCO...guys this review serves to never consider this property company. We have been without electricity since Wednesday we are the only flat without electricity meanwhile we pay rent every month. We tried buying electricity since Tuesday and by then we had 30Kw left to use. We got a prompt that the meter is blocked. My husband has been up and down AFHCO offices for assistance since Wednesday to no assistance. As we speak our meat is starting to rot in the fridge from the heat we have been experiencing. The caretaker does not even give a Damn about people's problems and that is not exclusive of the entire AFHCO staff to them you are just a number... I really find it unfair that I pay 4500 rent and get no assistance. I really am thinking of contacting my lawyer and have the company speak to him.

I am seriously unhappy not even the accounts department functions properly. This outstanding funds is serious accusations and from the start it was not about us owing it can't even be proven that we owe rent... I am so disappointed shame

You first tell me I owe you, then s**** the balance off, then tell me I'm owing January rent... I have proof of deposit for January and I do not understand how rent relates to the meter fault... I seriously am considering talking to my lawyer cause this looks like it's still very far from being solved. Today is the seventh day that we have been without electricity because of that meter. So if your procedures for collecting outstanding balances calls for depriving people off their basic needs then you have another thing coming..
