AFHCO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Afhco is a legitimate ****! When you're still applying for accommodation obviously the agents will sell you heaven on earth. Moved into Moray House July of 2023 of which is was a 12 month lease, end of lease I opted not to renew but instead move out, that is when all the mayhem broke loose. On the final day a move out inspection was to be conducted, no objections, the building manager EROND MAMOGOBO came at this on sweet time having had advised through written communication that by 12:00 I must have vacated the premises. Upon his arrival he started pointing at random things saying they're broken eg if you place furniture against the wall the the outline of the bed will be there, according to him I should be charged for repainting whereas that is something that AFHCO needs to account for as it's ware and tare and no malicious damaged was sustained by the wall just shows that the unit was occupied. End of that exercise, he said I should sign a blank document to acknowledge that the inspection had been done. Weeks later I get a bill with all sorts of charges that when I asked for them to be accounted for nobody could give me a response as to how they reached the invoiced amount just had Paballo Phakedi who is said to be the area manager adamantly repeating that I must pay as charges are applicable, it took me constantly following up their office with regards to my deposit of which I was cheated of due to being billed nonsense during my move. Than we have Nqobile Zwane who thinks she the minister of Treasurer in the organization!! I had my issues resolved simply because I had to string my Legal provider in as I was not willing to be bul**** by an organization simply because my voice wasn't being heard. My advise is stay away from any AFHCO buildings because for some unfortunate reason you're in a financial tight spot, rest assured that electricity will be switched off without prior notice, you can make an payment arrangement but if Madam Nqobile Zwane is not in the mood well you will find yourself stranded outside your unit even though it is deemed ******* to do so according to the housing act. The maintenance team rarely ever comes to fix anything and it seems to be a strategy used to not pay back the deposit. Customer service is a nightmare to deal with because you can send a mail and follow up yet nobody bothers to respond. No wonder we're in the state we in as a country because it's organizations like AFHCO that a lend by previously disadvantaged individuals who have no absolute idea what they're doing yet want titles and massive salaries and for what. Every second building in JHB CBD is owned or have some form of affiliations with AFHCO for them to be performing so poorly at providing services, where is all this money going if we can get ****** in their buildings because a women was shot dead in Panama House yet there is security. Building managers couldn't care a damn about tenants and attending to their needs. The company is just a disgrace in my opinion because it's ran by black people for black tenants at a degrading level of service. Read up on the rights people and know when your taken advantage of!!!
