AFHCO flats

I have a lease with afhco at Panama house 200 commissioner street. I have been staying there for a while now and I've realised that the building manager is not professional as one day I paid 70% of the rent portion and he sent out a letter of demand that payment should be done within 20 days. Two days after that my electricity was switched off. I was speaking to one of the tenants and he advised that the building Manager switches the power off and want to be bribed in order to put back the electricity instead of that I just paid the full amount outstanding. I didn't report the matter and thought I'd let it slide.

Now 2nd instance ,I have two toddlers which attend creche ,they have a nanny which receives them after school and feeds them to sleep . I had told the security guard about my nanny , later in the month I realised I had to replace my nanny with another as she wasnt suitable to look after the kids .I got a new nanny and it was a day before the lockdown ,she came through and they signed her in and I was impressed and happy to work with her meaning I now had to register her to get biometrics done and assumed ofcourse that will be possible after the lockdown . myself and my little sister are working from home we also essential services so we working from home ofcourse with our nanny assisting and keeping the children away from our place of work.

This morning my nanny wakes up to go to the clinic to fetch her pills. When she returns the security refuses to open for her , we go to the building Manager and he was very rude told us that no visitors are allowed , but how is the nanny that had been here for more than a week a visitor ,he didn't even want to listen said we making our problems his , apparently rumour has it that he needs to be bribed at all times he wants people to pay him money in order to come through. I even had to fetch the police had to show them my permit that am working from home and I need somebody to assist with the kids and she had proof that she had gone to the clinic . The police couldnt enforce anything as he said we dont have a case.

I as a proud south African am sad to say we are being Ill treated because of not having money that's required time and again ,bribery has now taken away peoples morals . Human are not even able to do the right thing or comply with the law all because of greed for money the building Manager is showing inhumanity towards his tenants apparantely he does as he pleases not even complying with the office rules. May I get assistance in terms of where to report the matter further such people cannot continue to harass the right of those that cant speak up.
