AFCHO's Poor Customer Service

I went to Golf Park, in Philip Nel Park in Pretoria, to look for a 1 bedroom apartment, which was shown to me by the agent, however the lounge has cupboards that occupy space in the room that doesn't allow room for my couch to fit. I told the agent that since my couch doesn't fit in the apartment I'm going to look for another place, to which she rep**** that there wouldn't be a problem removing the cupboards if I paid the deposit. I paid the deposit on the 25th of January 2023 to secure the apartment and therefore was assured that they'd have the cupboards removed. This has not been the case - I have not been able to move in yet, since my furniture doesn't fit and therefore have been travelling over 80km to work everyday as a result. Today is the 7th of February and they still haven't removed the cupboards and am looking to get my deposit back and look for a better place. I'm not sure if this is how they do business but my experience has been horrible and therefore wouldn't refer anyone there.
