A serious bridge of human rights by afhco
120 End Street, the building always have no water. You spend over a week with no running water, no communication, no alternative and this is the serious human rights issues. The don't respect the tenants

21 Nov 2025, 08:16Good day Alfred, We understand your frustration, and we want to address this clearly. The recent water interruptions at 120 End Street are the result of recurring council-related water and power outages, which unfortunately fall outside of AFHCO’s direct control. That said, we take the impact on our residents very seriously. Whenever these outages occur, our team immediately communicates via SMS alerts and building notices to ensure tenants are informed of the situation and any updates we receive from the municipality. We will continue to do so consistently and transparently. We recognise how disruptive this is and remain committed to advocating with council for faster resolutions while doing everything within our power to support residents during these service failures. Please reach out to the building manager and/or our customer services for any further assistance. PS. The Hector Norris pump station has been switched off for almost the whole week now due to a breakdown hence the current poor pressure and/or no water. Johannesburg Water is providing alternative water supply through trucks at different spots.
