STAY AWAY from Maragon AVIANTO
From experience I would say that the principal of a school needs to be professional? She/he needs to employ and manage her staff without favouritism and know how to handle conflict resolution. Amongst all, when a teacher has broken up a family by sleeping with a father from her class this definitely brings the name of the school down. So parents start speaking and therefore take their children somewhere else. This principal has told parents to take their children to another school if they are not happy, she has shouted at children in an unprofessional way, and definitely does not manage her staff with professionalism. This school has lost many good teachers and children, Monica De Beer the principal of Maragon Avianto should have fired Mandy Van Der Walt. This teacher is not professional, she even dresses unprofessionally and her teaching methods leave much to be desired. I would not ever want a teacher of her Caliber teaching my children, this PRIVATE school is over priced for the quality you are given.
The HOD Robyn Labram, (grade R teacher) decided to have the this years grade R graduation on a little veranda, with R10 party table cloths from a China store I’m sure, she re used shadow paintings from children from many years ago and stuck them up on the walls, the paint was coming off, it all just looked like a mess and so unprofessional for the quality which all the parents and grade R graduates deserve.
Maragon Avianto is a lemon! The principal and entire Pre school is a joke! Stay away from this embarrassment of an excuse of a PRIVATE school. Don’t be fooled by the pretty building or area. These key people are poison, unmanaged and unprofessional and have led to a great school being run into the ground. So sad.
