Pinnacle College Founders Hill - Non-stop bullying

I am extremely dissatisfied with how the principal handles bullying at Pinnacle College Founders Hill.

From the very first day of high school my son was victimised and bul****. He was almost stabbed by another student with a pair of scissors, and once again the teacher wasn't there to supervise the students, and of course there was not action against the offender.

My son was fat shamed the entire year and nothing was done.

Why does Pinnacle College Founders Hill schools ignore bullying and punish the victim when they fight back?

Let's not even talk about the lack of communication and the high staff turnover. All the excellent teachers leave within 1 - 2 years.

My eldest son had 2-4 new teachers over the year for the majority of his subject.

Extra lessons are always cancelled.

Forget about joining squash as this was cancelled after spending money on the correct kit.

The bathrooms are not maintained or cleaned on a regular basis.

The lack of communication is another hot topic amongst parents and children.

There was a serious incident that took place during PE - guess what .... the teacher was nowhere to be seen and the students were left to their own devices.

A serious incident took place and again my son was the target. The situation escalated, and he retaliated for the 1st time since the beginning of the year, and yup you guessed it, he was the one punished / suspended.

His psychiatrist was gobbed smacked regarding the situation that took place at the school.

The principal is unhelpful and lacks compassion.

The principal brushed the main incident under the carpet, he was more concerned about my son’s bracelet. I informed him that beads were for protection which are also intended to reduce impulsive behaviour (the girls and boys are allowed to dye their hair and have as many piercings as the like). I mentioned that my son was neurodivergent individual. He then proceeded to tell my son and I that the school did not cater for children like this, and it was best that we find another school. I then asked if the school accepted ADHD children, his reply to this was yes.

I informed him that neurodiversity is the correct terminology for ADHD (as well as other conditions on the spectrum).

What I gained from that meeting was that the principal did not care or value the needs of his students, and then to add insult to injury, he brushed the incident that took place at PE under the carpet. The impact of what happened that morning has scared him emotionally and mentally.
