From Hero to Zero Advanced Telcoms.
In 2017 we were approached by a sales rep to purchase a LTE Router/ Telkom SIM .
Sales was fantastic service. Until our internet was cut of 19 February 2018.
After numerous calls daily and emails back and forth.
It was clear that our payments were up to date. They supp**** us with a 3rd parties Simcard initially that we were un aware of. That card has been cancelled leaving us without internet.
Seems like an easy fix. Submit and activate new sim and all should be sorted.
Yet we are approved on their system for a SIM card they are unable to get it processed.
They even had the audacity to insist that we supply our employee Id's for allocating a SIM card to their name. How unbelievably ridiculous.
After emails of informing them of the NCA act of not being unable to supply a service that they claim to supply and charge me for it.
They are now trying other internet suppliers. I have no problem with that at all. Except that there is no communication at all.
I have emailed the supervisor directly and phoned every phew hours. He is ALWAYS in a meeting and NEVER returns calls.
They refuse to cancel my LTE contract even without being able to supply the data which we have been APPROVED by them for.
It's been the most FRUSTRATING process EVER!
19 Days without internet To DATE!
Good morning,
We sincerely apologise that you feel this way. As you are aware, at the time of sale, we were authorised Telkom dealers, therefore, we supply customers with Telkom uncapped LTE data. Applications are sent through from our office to Telkom, who then perform their own credit vetting.
This is the same process that is followed if you had to do it through a retail store or spending hours on the telephone trying to get through to an agent at Telkom.
Credit vetting and approval is completed by Telkom themselves using their own system. We do not use this system nor have access to it. Unfortunately, they could not give us an answer as to why they could not release your sim card on their side in order to activate your data connection.
We have issued you with a temporary uncapped sim card which you are currently using for free as we are covering this cost for you as a valued client.
Once again, we apologise for the situation. We are doing what we can from our side to rectify this issue. We will contact you once we receive feedback regarding this matter.
Regards
Advanced Telcoms
