WORST COMPANY EVER

<p>I don't know why I waste my time complaining to the supervisors at ADT. Their service and response time is so appalling. This evening after my alarm was activated it took over 15 mins for the patrol car to arrive. The guard ambled up to the front gate(I have cameras) and pushed the intercom. He then walked away so could not hear me speaking. So I went out to the driveway. He was already sitting back in his car. When I called him out and complained about the long response time he just turned his back on me and walked away. No apology -nothing. I called the control room. You can push option 1 in a life threatening emergency -so I did not choose this option but waited for the call to be answered. Nope. Ring ring. No answer. In the end I had to call back and did choose option 1. I got a disinterested lady that answered and I told her immediately it was not a life threatening situation. Realizing I was not speaking to somebody that understood response times and service I asked to speak to the supervisor on duty. To cut a long story short the supervisor told me someone would look into the long response time and that the area manager would call me on Monday or Tuesday. Given that it is now Friday night and the whole idea of having an armed response service is because we live in a crime riddled country I feel that this shows again that there is simply no urgency when it comes to ADT service. Whoever reads this, just imagine if it was your new armed response business. I'm sure you would be onto your unhappy customer at 8am the next day. Service in any new business is critical. But not ADT. They are simply too big to care. Yes they will lose the odd disgruntled customer but there are not too many alternatives out there so life goes on. Our area manager can have a relaxing weekend and get back to his concerned customer 3 to 4 days later and promise to escalate the concern blah blah blah. But nothing ever happens and the service just gets worse. And when your armed response driver has the attitude he does then we really are stuffed. Our driver in the Constantia Nahoon area used to be such a great guy. Anyway I can rant as much as I like but I guarantee you this will go nowhere. If anyone out there really wants to set up a decent reliable caring armed response service please know you will have my support as well as the support of many others I know. Mike</p>
