Unhappy client
Can Fidelity ADT clarify this for me, because wow I am surprised and shook. So last week on the 5th I sent an email to cancel my contract, and the guy who helped me said I had to give 30 days notice however my contract says 20 days. On top of that he told me that my account will be last debited on the 21st of December. I asked him how? Because in November I'll be paying for December and he said that's not how it works. Then I received an email regarding 2025 annual radio fee which will be debited with December invoice, and I got more confused. Friday my alarm went off, there was no response from ADT. Sunday evening again my alarm went off twice, there was no response and I tried to call still no response. Today my alarm went off again, still no response. I called ADT monitoring team, we did an alarm test twice with a guy called Thembha and he told me that he's not picking up any signal. Was transferred to technical department only to be told that I need to book a technician to come, whereby I'll be required to pay. So I'm asking myself why all of a sudden I am experiencing signal problems after I requested that my contract be cancelled? Could it be that ADT already suspended their services on their side and they just want to collect my money? I am not satisfied, I sent an email on Tuesday which I haven't got a response regarding my frustrations. My contract should be cancelled immediately since there's no signal on ADT's side, it means that I am paying for 0 services....
