Unfair added costs

Fidelity ADT recently sent an SMS notification for R12.00 fuel levy to be added to our Monthly account effective 1st May’21. As consumers are we comfortable with an additional charge over an above our current contract fee? I’m not trying to be insensitive to the obvious of increased operating costs, but I feel that consumer are already frustrated and annoyed by added fees for filling up with fuel....we certainly don’t need a Security company fuelling that even more.
