Unacceptable level of responce

The outside beam house alarm was set off at 04h30. the control room phoned and although I could not see anyone outside I requested a patrol to check the garden etc. Having waited 45 minutes for any type of contact to inform me an officer was on site (outside) I opened the front door in time to hear a car leaving. I then checked the outside premises of my property ON MY OWN. Please explain what I am paying for when your patrol can supposedly drive up to my front gate, leave a note to say he was there, and then - on the instructions of the control room apparantly - leave without checking the situation inside. After the initial response call from the control room no other contact was made with us to inform us of the situation. I realise that ADT are purely reactive rather than proactive but even for them this level of response / commitment is abysmal. I will be phoning Beagle Watch first thing today to change to a company that takes security seriously.
