Traps and tricks of an ADT contract

I have been a client of ADT now on and off for the past 13 years. All the time I paid my dues by debit order. This year I get notified by attorneys I owe ADT. I phone ADT they say my account is clean with no arrears. I still get threats from the attorneys after ADT said they will rectify. Next thing I cancel my service with ADT because of the above but mainly due to me relocating where there is no ADT service. Rural Cape province. ADT has the audacity to charge me R500 for them to come and remove stuff that they want back. If I take it out and take it back to them will I get R500? answer will probably be in the nagative.

Bottom line is : beware of all the traps and tricks with ADT when signinig on
