The Worst Security Company in S.A

What a horrible experience. I cancelled my contract with in 21 days of my contract with ADT because they never pitched twice when my alarm ran which is concerning to me considering I'm female and i live alone. After sending in notice to terminate, it took them two months to attend to this where a different person called me every time and wasn't sure how to handle the request. Eventually three months later i was sent a settlement letter stating that i'd be liable for the three month (note, i didn't even use the system since it's useless and no one pitches). Fast forward to 5 months later, after still being debited every month and me reversing the payments, I am now being told I'm on a two year contract and i should disregard the settlement letter they sent me. What kind of nonsense is this? To date, they said they'd call to discuss and i haven't heard anything from them. It will probably take another three months
