Terrible Response Times

A couple of months ago our alarm had gone off thrice in one night. After phoning ADT numerous times, the company they outsource in Mitchell’s Plain (Securpro) finally came out.

After sending an email of complaint, I was reassured that we would have regular patrols in our area and that our home was logged in the wrong zone but it would be corrected. We even had numerous tests done to make sure that our alarm was not faulty.

This morning (03 September 2020), we had an attempted break-in where I called ADT at exactly 05:20 and said it was a life-threatening emergency as we live in an area where drug-related crimes and house breaking and theft is rife. Eventually when Securpro arrived at home they showed us that ADT only notified them at 05:43.

Their response times are absolutely ********** and it is worrying to have to wait for armed response when it could potentially be a life or death situation.
