Shocking Lack of Caring - Terrible Service

<p>I went away for teh Easter Weekend</p> <p>Before going, I logged a call with ADT as I kept getting Low Battery warnings</p> <p>A technician came out and did "something" to clear the error</p> <p>Falsely assured, I went away. My property was broken into on teh Friday morning, 21 April.</p> <p>We were on the road to the Eastern Cape.</p> <p>We were assured that a respondant had checked teh perimiter, and all was in order.</p> <p>Far from it...</p> <p>Visible from teh gate where the ADT guy would have stopped, was the ruined burglar bar into my lounge.</p> <p>My neighbour saw it in the dark...</p> <p>When we got back, we had indeed been burgled, despite ADT telling us all was in order.</p> <p>The salesman Steven is impossible to get hold of from my phone - it's like he ignores my number.</p> <p>Phoning the call centre better not be life threatening, as you will wait anywhere from 7 minutes to 30 minutes to talk to someone - who will prove ineffective, and unable to assist.</p> <p>My complaints are:</p> <p>1. I have been charged for a faulty transformer, after a technician came out to repair a damaged sensor (damaged during the burglary) - this on a system that was installed 8 Feb 2017!</p> <p>2. I phoned in yesterday to request a report on the burglary (for Insurance) and was assured it would be mailed to me. When my wife phoned this morning to follow up, she was told there are no notes on the system, and no record of my request!!!!!!!!!!</p> <p>3. When I phoned to log a complaint this morning, I held on for 8 minutes, only to be non-helped by a certain Wandile, who really expected me to hold on while he escalted a requst to his supervisor. The request was that they listen to my call of yesterday.</p> <p> </p> <p>In summary, as long as ADT are getting my monthly payment, they are happy. they do not care if I am happy or safe.</p> <p>They employ responders who either do not do their job, or are functionally blind (as they are armed, tat is SCARY)</p> <p>I do not expect a response to this, as Wandile promised to phone me back "in 5 minutes" an hour ago - and still no call</p>
