***** resulted in debt

I joined ADT in 2023 February through Ryder 1 of the Sales consultant, i have been a loyal client since then. 2024 April we experienced challenges with the house we were buying and were summoned to vacat the house within 15days, that will be 30 April 2024, i spoke to Ryder about this matter and explained to him that i will be moving into my mother's house for few months, He told me i cant cant cancel the contract but rather i should change the address until the contract expires. After moving out i informed him, he immediately sent 1 of this area consultant to were i was to "open a new account for me" while i was busy with the lady (Thandeka) i explained my sistuation and she informed that this is a new contract not change of address as i have requested, i talked to Ryder who later confirmed again that its just a change of address but will have to pay installation however if i need to cancell all together i will have to pay penalty fees equivalent to the months remaining for the contract to expire. I was promised again that i will start making payments end of June 2024.

11 May 2024 a debit order of R451.00 went through i text him (texts available) to check why is the debit order going through today, he claimed it was an admin error but i can reverse on my end, i did so. 27 May again a debit order of R451.00 went through, i text him again he advised me again to reverse the money AGAIN, i did so

To my surprise around 5 September 2024 I receive a call from LGR Attorneys informing me that i have been handed over by ADT and i should pay R902.00 immediately, i explained what happened to the lady, she advised that Ryder was not truthful that resulted in my acc being handed over, mind you other debit orders are still going through monthly to ADT, the issue is the ones i was advised to REVERSE.

I sent Ryder a voicenote explaining by dissappointment with him, all he could say is "sorry" and i should cancel the contract knowing very well he falsefully contracted me in a new contract, now i am left with a debt.

ADT Pretoria please look into this.
