refusal for a refund

Good day<br> <br> I was contacted by an ADT agent to offer the summer promotion. Wit whom I signed an installation agreement and purchased security beams to the value of R4372.24.<br> <br> The installation scheduled for 3rd February did not take place and I have requested a refund. He no longer responds to my emails and when I contact ADT I am told he is an independent dealer and ADT cannot get involved. I would like to know what steps ADT can take against this act of dishonesty because unfortunately he misleads potential clients using his association with ADT which is a trusted brand. Refusing to give me a refund for services that were not rendered under the guise of representing ADT I believe should concern ADT greatly to the extent of considering de-registering him as an accredited sales agent / dealer.
