R2,373 to Debtsource by 'mistake'
27-8-15 SMS from Debtsource telling me my ADT account had been handed over and I needed to call them to make payment arrangements. I called and was told that I owed R2,373.65 which was for an account balance payment. This was complete news to me, surely if I did owe money I should have received an invoice, an email, a call or even an SMS?
After speaking to 6 different people, none of whom could tell me why I owed money as their systems stated I was no longer a customer and there was nothing outstanding on my account, it was safer to pay Debtsource to avoid being blacklisted. It then took me 21 phone calls, a visit to the N1 City Office, numerous emails and 2 sets of bank charges to get the money back from ADT.
In Oct I received an invoice for R2,373.65!!! I emailed the lady who was supposed to have sorted it in Sept and Customer Services. Then in Nov I received the same invoice AGAIN. I emailed the same lady and Customer Services again and she told me she would get back to me at the end of play on the 18th November. I have not heard from her! And NOT once through this whole process I have ever heard back from Customer Services!
