Poor service- total let down
Hi
I have been sending multiple emails to ADT and calling them for my subscription cancellation. Today i finally spoke to an agent, and he asked me to forward him the emails i sent, i send the email and the email address is not valid ***, this is the address i used. I am annoyed to the cure, these companies they make sure they deduct their fees every month with poor service . I need assistance and i need it now.

I have received a call from your guys thank you for that. However as said before i took over my late mom's subscription meaning when i called for subscription take over i was expecting who ever was helping me to highlight that it is a new 24 months contract now i have a penalty fee of R2000 i need to pay. This is a ******* and ADT has been robbing me for months deducting money on my account with no service delivery now when i cancel the contract you come up with penalty fees. I am disappointing on Adt and sadly enough the person who subscribed from the start is no longer around now i must carry the burden

Unfortunately, you signed a 24 month contract and you are still in contract. Managements decision remains as is and you will be held liable for the early termination fee.
The agent sent you the copy of the contract as well and explained all this to you. He offered to assist and send out a technician which you declined. You sent the previous cancellation to the incorrect address and we unfortunately never received it. You would still be held liable for the early termination fee, had we got that cancellation then, because you are still within you contract period.

i do not want the services anymore i believe i have a right to say no, because now you making as if the consultant was doing me a favor. The technician was suppose to be send long time ago before robbing me.
Lastly i will comment nor entertain you regarding the email address, because i clicked a link from a text straight to Gmail, how who fault is it that you send us incorrect email addresses.
What is said about this when this benefited you guys you never even bothered to check if the alarm still works or not(doing a follow-up in your clients) but now that i want to cancel the subscription you have a lot to say even to offer an assistant God knows how many times i reached out to ADT but with lack of service this is what i get at the end of the day.

I'm just referring you to the contract, If you can refer to clauses 6.6 and 6.20, Customers obligations, where is does mention that the onus is on the client to test the alarm and to advise us accordingly of any fault regarding the system. Our agent was prepared to assist with that when he spoke to you.
There is no notes on the system that advises of any calls received for a technician to attend. There is only one in January 2019 where you asked the Call Centre agent to test you alarm. nothing further to date.
