Please Help Me!!!!

Today, I would like to commend Fidelity ADT on their exhibit of unconscious incompetence. It was truly awesome and a marvel to experience. 10/10.

My request: Quote on linking my outside beams on a system that I will buy from Fidelity ADT. [or take a rental option which comes with many mandatory security services. These services are great recurring income for any person with just enough brain power to breath, would see. They also lock in the prospective customer over the contract period bringing awesome top line revenue.]

Why am I going to Fidelity ADT you ask – because the beams were bought from Fidelity ADT. Why am I bothering to write this – please read to the end. Lol

The beams are my own because I bought them from Fidelity ADT – at the price of a king’s ransom I might add... They were installed by Fidelity ADT and removed on my behalf by Fidelity ADT when I relocated. All in the last year or so. Not important. Suffice to say, it was not years ago.

So, before I call Fidelity ADT, I speak to someone, on Fidelity ADT’s senior payroll, to ask what my best options are and what he/she recommends I do. I have a quote from a security company who is ready to come install right now. In fact, they were extremely delighted that I had top of the range beams. These are the same beams that the expert sent to me says they are not good. Not the same words but same meaning.

I was told by Mr Mohau Mpiti that the organisation - Fidelity ADT - prohibits technicians to install client owned equipment because of the possible liability arising from equipment failure. Now, my first question; there is a professional, standing in front of me and telling me, with confidence, that Fidelity ADT is scared of installing their own equipment, because they are scared of equipment failure, of equipment they recommended to me as the best since sliced bread. How does this make sense I beg to know?

So, I have read through past documents and researched where I could, and I cannot find any reference to the security company - Fidelity ADT - accepting liability for product failure and taking and/or owning up, financially that is. I accept that this would be done very quietly with full NDA’s in place – if that is the case. On the other hand, someone would have to have very deep pockets to take on an organisation of this size. Alternatively, the www would be littered with angry consumers. I am going off topic …...

I am not really going to hold my breath for a response, given the confidence of the professional sent to me to assess and speak to MY needs.

The question that begs an answer – where is the logic that was app**** here. Anyone reading this, please help me get closure. A whole senior person recommends that I go this route. I understand that the people on the top floor are not necessarily in complete sync, but I am certain that logic was also app****.

Please help me. A psychologist is going to have a field day with me if I go that route. So, I am looking to you to help take this ****** of my back.

Thank you in advance team Fidelity ADT.
