PATHETIC RESPONSE TIME

Saturday 19/03/2016 08h13 i received a call from ADT control reporting an alarm activation at my home.I requested that they send a response vehicle to my home. as i had just arrived to work and my wife and child were down the road from my home at a CPF street group meeting . My wife reached home around five minutes later and there was no response vehicle. At 08h35 the response vehicle pitched up at my house of which the guard was asked why it took so long to respond as he was not even 2 kilometers away when he received the call. His response was that he only received the call 5 minutes before reaching my house.Five minutes to drive 2 km's on a quiet Sat morning?THIS HAPPENED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION AND I REFUSE TO CONTINUE TO PUT THE LIVES OF MYSELF AND MY FAMILY IN THE HANDS OF AN *********** \ARMED RESPONSE\" COMPANY THAT CANNOT EVEN DELIVER WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO ON TIME AND STILL PAY FOR IT!!!<br> My wife phoned the control room and was pushed from pillar to post to try get answers and they tried to blame it on a \"miscommunication\". I WILL be cancelling with ADT and WILL advise members of our street group of this and recommend we all join the same company which will NOT be ADT."
