Negligence and *********** staff
My very first contact with ADT was unpleasant from the installation of the alarm system until the day I had a break in in my home on the 23 June 2017. During the break-in ADT was negligent and responded to the alarm very late where we lost valuable possessions. After the break- in , I lodged a complaint and was promised that I will be compensated as it was through their negligence and poor service that they did not perform their duties efficiently. Spoke to Mervin the Supervisor whom was very helpful; was then passed on to Chris Naidoo (HOD) whom did not want to speak to me at all I first spoke to the New Germany office. It was so difficult as I phoned every single day. Security officers were sent to my home to take pictures and I allowed them as they were sent by New Germany office.I was then referred to the Cape Town offices as the NEW Germany offices said they have forwarded all necessary details and the claim has been sent to Cape Town. I now spoke and was emailing Dean Steyn and lastly Desmond Momsem whom I was told is the investigator. Spoke to ADT every week from June as I phoned and emailed. I have been past on to about 7 individuals who will make as if they are assisting and then drop me off. They never call me back. Have sent all the necessary documentation but they have never given me a way forward. It is now the 5th month. The last person I spoke too, yesterday Desmond Momsem had promised to email me as to what is holding in meeting with his superiors. He never sent me the email till now. I am utterly disappointed with ADT and my experience with them has been draining and very unprofessional for such a huge company. Their service towards "some " of their clients is very disappointing and plead to their management to please assist me urgently.
