After experiencing the trauma of a break in at our home we contacted a number of security companies. ADT sold themselves so well on the technical side and for how much better they were than competitors. Insisted on 100% payment up front for alarm installation.\ Firstly, how if you claim the alarm is a rental am i paying for it up front? We were informed that the installer would be a professional with PSIRA accreditation. What a nightmare! Firstly installer arrived with an excuse that he had to leave and could not do our installation. After insisting he stay, he then didn't have a clue what to do on site and couldn't read the documentation supp**** by ADT. Not one PIR installed at the same height. Multiple holes through walls for a single cable. Beam units still placed in the incorrect position even after an explanation of where it should be placed On the phone to supplier to be talked through how to connect the system. Home left in an absolute mess! Newly painted walls left filthy and damaged. Wooden floors damaged by unprotected ladders. Error messages on system after technician had left. What an absolutely diabolical experience! Please think very carefully before going anywhere near ADT!
