Lack of Armed Response Service

I have recently been a victim of hijacking close to my residence and as such have been requesting a meet and greet from ADT when arriving home late at night.<br> <br> I recently called to request a meet and greet and was told that this is not possible and the sole van that patrols the strandfontein area has been moved to another area due to loadshedding. This is absolutely ridiculous!! Why am I paying for a armed response company, which in the event of something happening nothing will be done as they do not even have a vehicle in the area.<br> <br> Loadshedding has a schedule and if loadshedding is being carried out then surely more personnel should be put on duty at that time and this should not become an exercise of reallocation. This is really disgusting and simply begs the question of am I simply being ********** every month for a service which I will only receive occasionally depending on availability. Surely ADT would not be happy if I told them sorry I can't pay this month, but I'll check next time.<br> <br> This issue needs to be addressed urgently as this is an unacceptable policy along with the fact that the whole Strandfontein/Bayview/San Remo/Pelican Height only has 1 response vehicle.
