I am being harassed for money I do not owe ADT, in fact they owe me

I am very unhappy and fed up with ADT.

Despite previous mails and calls (to no avail) to ADT Security I get no joy. Instead I am continuously harassed by sms’s and phone calls.

I have cancelled my service with them more than a year ago due to bad service, they then blamed the battery to have been faulty (replaced it – we did not ask for a replacement) and charges us with something like R1174. I immediately complained and told them that we are fed up with their bad service. I instructed them to come and take their new battery (which their technical guy came to do), and to return our battery (to date no battery was returned). We had to purchase a new one with the security body we are with now.

Still I get bombarded with calls and sms’s

1) Every time I tell the person who calls me that I do not owe ADT a single sent, ADT in fact owe me money for my battery that was removed and not returned when they came to take out the new one – they give empty promises that it will be looked into. a. They also promise to send me their email so that I can forward the correspondence I had to date, but I never get the promised mail 2) The sms’s received, the contact nr provided always ring and ring.

It has now become so bad, that some very rude people are now calling me from some or other “debt collecting agency” Credit Works on behalf of ADT. 1) They phone me whilst I am seeing clients and interfere with my line of duty, or 2) They phone whilst I am driving

They wont hear about the fact that I do not owe ADT any money, they keep harassing me.

It has now come to the stage where I can no longer tolerate any more of this nonsense. None of my previous mails to ADT has ever been answered. I do not know where else to escalate this matter to any more. I am fed up with being harassed by ADT.

I have escalated the issues to ADT again and again...I get read receipts for the emails sent, but no response Since I told Credit Works off , and told them neverto contact me again....they now start harassing my husband!!! Enough is enough
