Hand over to the Debt Collectors in error
My ADT account was cancelled and all outstanding amounts were settled in April 2015.

I then get an sms from the Debt Collecting company for ADT on the 23 of November 2015 informing me that my ADT Account has been handed over for collections.

I tried to get assistance from Jonathan King but he no longer works as a credit controller and cannot help me. I was then given the email address of R. Maharaj who does not return my calls or respond to my emails.

This is nonsense. I cancelled the service and the radio was removed from my house after that and now I am told that I am owing the amount of R398.33

I do not owe ADT anything. I want a letter stating that my account is not in areas and I want ADT to contact their Debt Collectors and have them remove my account.

Today I contact their Pre-legal department for assistance and I am told that they cannot assist me because they are all in training. And I should call back when they are done with training. Wow!
Otherwise I will take legal action for defamation.

My credit record is now at risk.
