furious with Fidelity ADT and not feeling secure.

So I was already signed up with Londoloza before it was taken over by Fidelity, and then Fedilty and ADT merged (I can't remember the details).

So - long story short - ADT has me as an existing customer. All they have to do is respond to my panic button, ans I'm happy.

Then - I started getting SMS messages telling me to test my panic button. When I did test the panic button - I was told by the Fidelity ADT call center that I didn't know my security password.

Their next trick was to start spamming me in an attempt to make me a part of their sales team. So now I'm irritated, and they're asking me favours, and I haven't even had a need for their services yet, and I no longer feel safe with them as my security company.

So - I finally changed to an alternative security provider, and cancelled ADT.

After the 2nd debit order went off after my cancellation - I called them, and was almost incoherent with rage.

Their accounts person seemed a nice enough lady, and was mildly amused at how I struggled with my frustration during the phone call. She promised me an SMS which would give me an e-mail address where I could write to so that I could confirm that I wanted a cancellation. (She was also friendly enough to finish off the call with the question "is there anything else I can do for you?". This was after I had mentioned at least 3 times that I was sick of the frustration involved in dealing with Fidelity ADT, and just wanted the relationship to end as quickly as possible)

So now - an hour after the phone call - I still don't have the SMS. I'm expecting to have to reverse any future debit orders, and am not looking forward to the possibility that Fidelity ADT could try to black-list me for services rendered that were not paid for.

I can't believe how the company managed to convert me from a happy paying customer to a rage-filled ex-customer who just can't get rid of them quickly enough.

The weird thing for me is this - Fidelity ADT doesn't seem to care that their current approach to customers is literally chasing them away!

OK - so it's now the next day, and two things have failed to happen...

1. I still haven't got the SMS with the e-mail address that I can use for cancellation.
(message to ADT: I have already contracted Dowry response, and they have been on duty now for 2 months. Your response button transmitter is waiting for you to collect - you know my address, and please don't take another month off my account).

2. there's no media officer contacting me about my post.
(message to ADT: I'm ok with you not contacting me. I'm definitely over the relationship - am just waiting for you to stop clinging on to my bank account)
