Frighteningly pathetic response time

I have been with ADT since 2010 and have today come to the conclusion that I have been wasting my money by paying this company to provide me with security services. There have been issues in the past with their response time which I overlooked because it seemed too much hard work to get a new service provider. Today I realised that if I didn't change over to a new security company that I would be endangering my life and possessions. ADT did not respond to my beams being triggered because they thought they had gone off due to load shedding. It then took them a while to despatch armed response after I insisted that they do so in order to ascertain if all was ok. We reached home just as their officer finished checking the property. Thankfully all was fine. My beams were again triggered at 11pm. This time because the ADT officer was in my yard checking on the property in response to the beams being triggered some 3 plus hours earlier! They have a master key to the padlock on my gate and thought it would be a good idea to check the property at this hour with me being in the house. I'm changing security companies otherwise they may come to check on me four hours after I have been attacked or killed. Don't use them. They will place your life in danger rather than protect it.
