Fidelity ADT (FADT) SecureFire service Charged without Consent
Fidelity ADT (FADT) charged an additional R34.99 for their so called "SecureFire" service starting 1 August 2023. A service which I was not informed about, asked if I want it and definitely I did not agree to having, and yet they charged for it!
I have requested the cancellation thereof, and for the second month (Sep. 2023) the additional R34.99 is charged.
Despite listening to colleagues and friends not recommending FADT (for among other reasons such us this), I decided to become a customer because of their presence in my neighbourhood.
Well FADT, your reputation proceeds you and I will now start the tedious process of cancelling my membership, because next time who knows what you (FADT) will just charge without customer consent.
