Fed up with ADT Credit Control System

ADT supp**** me with a rental security system with an out of date battery. When the battery died I struggled for a month to get a technician to come out - leaving my property completely vulnerable. Then they had the audacity to bill me for both a replacement battery and a call out fee (almost a R1000-00).<br> <br> I've tried unsuccessfully to bring the issue under their attention but invariably end up talking to an call center operator since the responsible people (Danie Malan, Marthinus Nel) are never available do not respond to customers. One operator even begged me to escalate the problem as she habitually needs to deal clients complaining about them.<br> <br> I now have to deal with a credit controller (Simon Khubekha) and an automated credit control system that have no authority except to pester me for payment. <br> <br> When I rented the system the salesperson made lots of promises. However, ADT's after sales service SUCK! So, dear ADT, please understand...I SHALL NOT PAY YOU WHAT I DO NOT OWE YOU - I AM NOT LIABLE FOR YOUR INCOMPETENCE.<br> <br> Also folks, if you live in the area is serviced by the ADT Brooklyn Technical Services, be warned - you are using ADT at your own risk.
