False “security” with ADT

An intruder breached a newly installed ADT beam in my home at 3am in the morning. No response from ADT. Intruder subsequently broke into my home which was armed less than 24 hours later. No response from ADT. I found the intruder in my home and hit my ADT panic button. No response from ADT. I then had to call ADT and tell them I was in a potentially life threatening emergency with an intruder in my home!! They sent a vehicle 30 MINUTES LATER!! ADT call center has been apathetic with contradictory messaging in responding to this breach. SAPS has been significantly quicker in responding to this invasion which makes it glaringly obvious just how little ADT’s “impact” has been. I did my part to secure my home with ADT. Had ADT done their part, the damage caused would have been significantly less.
