false claims to get customers to sign up

<p>2 years ago i signed a contract with adt for a rented alarm system. I asked the sales agent if i could purchase the alarm system from ADT at some point. He was very confident when he told us we could. 2 years later we decide to cancel our contract adt because their service sucks and we want to buy the rented alarm system from them.</p> <p> Now we are told that adt doesn't sell the rented alarm systems. After i tell the customer services consultant what we were told when we joined Adt. She tells me that she wasnt there when i signed up so basically in a nut shell i was bull ****ted. </p> <p>Its not stipulated in the contract as it was done verbally yet she insists on checking the contract to see if there are amy stipulations. The way i see it, adt told me that. Regardless of who was there, they represented adt. Surely me purchasing the system is better than removing it?</p> <p> </p>
