Failure to report low battery, severe break-in

After a severe break-in, in Southbroom, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Mr Gerald Chetty from ADT indicated that a low battery, caused by Eskom loadshedding, was the result of a break-in. I do no not accept this status quo, because I was not notified that the battery was down.
