I was contacted by a company - Debt Source - 1 year and 5 months after my contract with ADT was canceled claiming that I owe ADT money. I rep**** that the money claimed was the exact amount paid over 2 months after the expiry of the contract and I sent bank statements as proof. The harassment did not stop. I asked Debt source for detailed proof of the alleged money owing. They rep**** that they did not have proof. I contacted ADT who undertook to send the required info to me. Numerous e-mails and phone calls to both ADT and Debt source later and the problem is still not resolved. My mails go unanswered and my calls keep on being dropped. I find both ADT and Debt source to be highly unprofessional and using bully tactics to force me to hand over money without giving proper proof or clarity with regards to the situation. Please assist, I don't know to get an answer out of these people. I made it clear that I would pay any money I owe without hesitation, but just provide the proof. Is that really so difficult?
