Complete lack of concern for my safety

My alarm went off on Sunday morning and my phone was on silent. I let my son in, who had activated the alarm. About 15 minutes later I realised my phone was on silent so I called ADT to let them know all was fine. They said an armed response officer had already been to the house but no one had answered but that everything looked fine. I was amazed and shocked that this was the reply. How can that be considered security. My curtains were still closed. There was no way for any body to know if I was alright in the house or was under attack. This is just unacceptable. Also when I called in and gave them my address they asked if that was in Cape Town. how in Heavens name can I feel secure if my address does not even indicate what province I am in on the system. I am deeply appalled at this complete lack of service. This is not just a case of not delivering a service but a complete ********* act on behalf of a company that assures thorough safety checks. It is impossible for me to continue to feel safe with this company and I will be investigating other options. I expect a refund of my monthly fee. I tried to send them a complaint on their website but this has proved imposs
