Cancellation of Service

Moved into new premises in November and requested ADT to install rental alarm system. Chose ADT because it has always been the first choice for my entire family. Due to security issues I now need to move premises and cannot take the system along with me to new complex. Upon giving notice I am informed that I entered into fixed term contract, neither the sales person nor the contract I signed states this. So now I'm faced with CPA early cancellation penalty. Still can't obtain copy of signed contract from ADT though despite asking numerous times. Received settlement letter and get charged 30% cancellation fee for owned system despite settlement letter clearly stating that cancellation is 10% for rented system. Spoke to supervisor in sales (Kerrigan) and have never experienced such poor service in all my dealings with ADT, she was unprofessional and unhelpful. I will one day move out of my security complex and require an alarm system, unfortunately ADT will not be my provider of choice.
