Broken Promises ?

ADT had offered and promised "three months free service" if one introduced another unit or client. It is most disappointing to note that they have gone back on their word simply because the free offer was not mentioned on the contract (yet payment was only initiated two months later). I had already taken three other contracts and therefore qualified for the three months free offer on the fourth unit. Now ADT states that "they cannot fulfill their promise as it is not stated on the contract!" Perhaps I should have really shopped around carefully before settling on "false" promises. Perhaps I as a consumer should have been well aware of what kind of contract I was getting myself into. ADT are not only expecting payments for the three "free" months but also for three months when services were terminated and there was no monitoring whatsoever! It becomes frustrating when no one is prepared to listen to reason.
