Bad service

Yesterday we had a break in. Alarm went off, received a call from one of their consultants and advised them that we are not home and was told they will send someone to go check. received a call after few minutes and was told that there was no force entry. To our shock when we got home the kitchen burglar and door open and some personal goods taken. Will called in the security and we are told that the person who cam to check the one did go in the yard because they no longer jump in if there are emergencies because of their injuries. Which is new to us, I don't remember being told that is the case, so are we paying soo much for them to check from the outside?? why was this not communicated to us? The money I am paying is too much for such services and I will like to cancel my contract and get a better service somewhere
