Bad security and sales on false pretenses holding us liable

We have canceled my account with ADT, now they want to fight for money due to Breach of contract. But the breach of contact started with ADT. There was a view time where the alarm went off on our side where we did not even got a responds out of ADT. As noted on the contract marked “not vicious – dogs” only once I can recall the security entered our premises to check if everything is in order and safe if the alarm went off in the morning hours. The rest of the time they are standing at the gate shouting hallo or slam something “nock” on the gate hallo and walk up and down the fence with the flashlight and leave a note in the post box or on the gate. There is a key pad on the gate for the security to enter our premises freely. For the security not to enter our premises is a high risk as there was a time where the ******* jumped over the walls from our neighbors at the back and did not need to enter the premises from the front. You won’t be able to see anything from the front of the house what is going on at the back of the house. As noted my husband signed the contract with a Disability, unable to work as he is boarded and are 24/7 at home. If I’m at work, with ADT poor security services I do not feel rest assure that ADT will be able to help my husband in need. When we signed the contact with ADT the sales consultant noted that we pay month to month and can cancel any time when needed, we are not signed up for 2 years etc… like the rest of the security companies – false pretenses and now we are thronged with the contract that we are liable to pay for the completion of the 24 months. If this is the kind of sales ADT offer with false pretenses and lack of services when needed. I do not want to use ADT for my family safety nor recommend them to anyone.
