Bad customer service
In July 2019 a technician came to house to install an alarm system on a Friday, while busy with that he damaged the geyser. I didn't have hot water the whole weekend, I had to make a plan to get hot water since our child was 4 months old. I got someone to come fix it on Monday, and then sent Paul Nel an invoice, Only to be told that the company that fixed the geyser wasn't a registered vendor. He then told me to pay the invoice, and he'll organize free response and monitoring for 2 months, I paid the invoice. When I signed up, ADT was running a special where they gave 2 months free monitoring and response, so adding the 2 months that Paul organized for me it meant I wasn't going to pay for 4 months and only pay a portion of the total monthly fee on the 5th month. In Nov 2019 I was charged the full monthly fee, I shouldn't have been charged a full amount based on the agreement we had with Paul, I contacted Paul who only got back to me after sending the second email, and said he'll sort it out. He gave me feedback saying he'll arrange free monitoring for a further 3 months (end of Dec, end of Jan and end of Feb), I have emails detailing this. End of Feb 2020 ADT charged me a monthly fee, when I contacted him he didn't give me a satisfying response. Sometime in Jan 2020 I had an issue with my alarm system, a technician was sent to fix the issue, and the charge was R897, this fee was debited from my account on the 25th Feb. On the 9th Mar the same R897 figure was debited from my account again, the same reference was used for this debit and the one for 25th Feb. I have tried to contact Paul and Eugene Zandberg so they can clarify what happened and fix this issue that's been going on since July 2019, but they haven't bothered to respond to my emails.
