ADT - to be investigated-Non delivery of services

In April 2014 I signed up with ADT, the consultant who signed me up confirmed that it would only be for one year as i was taking over an existing lease. I agreed and signed the contract.<br> The first incident i had was a few weeks into the contract, i requested for armed response, i did not have a security guard come up to the door and have me open up to find out if all was okay.<br> The alarm system that was installed did not cover my garage and on some days, on my return home from work, i would need to come into the house from my garage, this would trigger the alarm but ADT would not call to confirm and to ask if everything was okay. If my phone was dead, they didnt even call my wife and she was second on the list to be called.<br> on 10 April 2015, there was a break in at my residence, we received a call from ADT and instructed them to dispatch the armed response. I got home before ADT had arrived and waited approx. 15 minutes for the response.<br> I requested that at the end of the lease they stop debiting me, only to be informed that the consultant signed me up for 2 years. <br> Unfortunately due to space i cannot add all my other grievances. now i must pay a penalty for another person's mistake
