ADT still billing after cancellation and collecting of Equiptment
I am struggling to understand why ADT has sent information to the Credit Bureaus for non-payment. Upon signing up – the house was vacant and then broken- into and Vandalized , upon confirming the Agreement , I specifically raised the question of cancellation , making mention that the House was on the Market for Sale and what would happen in the event that the house gets sold and the new owners do not want to take the contract over. The sales person advised that this will be wavered as long as the Equipment is recovered successfully without any damages etc. I called in to advise of Termination and I honestly cannot remember the persons name that I spoke to and I advised her of the same and she said that the were outstanding balances owing of R3500 and the account is already closed /cancelled, which I advised her that I will pay off every month as the tenants did not pay this and still taking it off the rental payment , never the less I also advised that the New owner would be keen for someone to go out to speak to him and signing on , the New Owner than contacted me and said that his wife was at home and no arrangement to discuss signing up was made and the equipment was collected.
So ADT was advised that the house was sold and that the new owner was interested but instead the collected the eqiuptment and did not sign the New owner up - I recently pulled my credit report and noticed that they have put adverse information - when I contact ADT today the 10th July 2019 they lady said that the account is closed but handed over , yet i have been making payments , she advised that the account was handed over to a company called Nimble & gave me a number *** to contact - I could not get anyone to answer - I then called their JHB office and the lady says that they dont have any profile with my ID I need this sorted as it is effecting my credit Score
