ADT selling cell phone numbers to marketing agents?

We have just bought a home and contracted ADT for home security. A telemarketer called today advising that they are aware that we installed ADT and offered us home insurance. What???????????

What right have ADT to do this? Totally unacceptable! If it is in the contract we were certainly not made aware of this. Now we must proceed to change our mobile number and ADT security.
