ADT Security's failure to attend to an activated alarm resulting in a break in

I own a gaming store, Games Dot Com in Waterfall KZN. My store was broken into on the 25th of August 2020 at 06h45 - broad daylight. The store's alarm was activated as soon as the 2.3m / 6.38mm glass was shattered by huge rocks. ADT did not dispatch a vehicle to the store and the ******s got away with a substantial amount of gaming equipment. I reached the store about 45 mins later to find the SAPS, Blue Security and the centres security company at the scene - still no sign of ADT. After discussions with the relevant authorities on the scene I entered the store and intentionally activagted the alarm. I was called and asked if everything was okay. I demanded an explanation as to why no action was taken and was met with an apology stating that the dispatched vechile got lost and went to another address. I then demanded to speak to somebody senior at ADT and was told that somebody would call me. After a day, I received a call from ADT advising me that a senior officer would come and see me at the store. I was then greeted with a visit by Mr Gumede who apologised and said that I should put in a claim against ADT for the loss incurred. After 2 such emails and a threat to approach Wendy Knowler at East Coast Radio as well as Hello Peter and all social media platforms to expose the failure of ADT to come to their clients rescue at the time of need - for which I have been paying for 3 years without fail. To date, I am still waiting for someone from ADT Security to come back to me. The people of Waterfall, Hillcrest, and surrounding areas should be concerned and worried about their families' safety if they have ADT as their security company. ADT has failed me and will fail you at your time of need. They do not respond either revert to you and survive on broken promises. I will be cancelling my contract with ADT Security and hope that whoever reads this, take lesson from my experience. Your lives and property is in the hands of ADT Security who WILL FAIL you at the time of need.
