ADT Security Services in Jeffreys Bay is non existent.

We have been ADT customers in Jeffreys Bay for quite a while and had never previously needed their assistance. However, on the night of February 23, 2024, we urgently required help and pressed the panic button multiple times, but received no response. Tragically, someone died the next day.

The following day, February 24, 2024, I contacted ADT to inquire why they hadn’t responded. They informed me that they were unavailable at the time and promised to call back the following Monday, February 26, 2024. They never followed up. Frustrated, I decided to visit their office on February 27, 2024, and terminated their services, as I no longer trusted them to be a reliable security provider. I returned all the panic buttons and was told that, despite my cancellation, I was still under contract and obligated to continue payments. In the meantime, we signed up with a new security provider.

Last week, I received a demand letter from LGR Attorneys for the outstanding balance, which I paid today, September 5, 2024. I am deeply dissatisfied with ADT. They failed to provide an explanation for their lack of response on the night in question and have yet to address how they will prevent such failures in the future.

I cannot recommend ADT to anyone. Their service has been deeply disappointing and unacceptable.
