My name is Nicola, I was recently visited by a Sales Rep from ADT named Deswin Samson. Who persuaded me to have an security system installed at my moms premises as she recently had a break in. He contacted my mom and in the process my mom refered him to me. As I will be the one liable for the monthly installments on the alarm system

Deswin then met with me and explain that the system will be free of charge and that there will be no installation fees required and everything is free and that the first monthly fee will be deducted end July 2019. I agreed to accept the offer and completed the forms as he required this included a debit order instruction and bank details.

The installation was suppose to take place Friday 12/07/2019. Then Deswin informed me if they did not come the Friday they will install the Saturday. The weekend had passed and still no installation was done. I have messaged Deswin numerous times on whats ap and he eventually blocked me from sending messages to him.

I then called their offices and spoke to the lady who answered. She then advised me that the installation will not be done because we have to pay for the system as they do not rent out the security system in the Eagle Park area.

I asked her why were we not told this from the begining and why has Deswin blocked me from sending messages to enquire about the installation she the told me she would ask her manager Johan Fourie to contact me.

I have not been contacted by the manager nor did anyone from ADT contact me. These people are sitting with a debit order instruction with complete bank detals and we still have no alarm system. What type of operation are they running.

Please hellopeter assist me we are approaching the end of the month and I fear my bank account will be debited without any alarm or security measures in place.
