ADT rips you off at every turn

in May of 2016 I signed a contract with ADT security stated I would be charged R305 per a month, and a yearly radio license fee.

On the June 2017 ADT raised the fee and debited R334.98, despite the contract and with no permission from me.

Furthermore they instituted an "Excessive response charge" not only was this not in the contract, The lack of "Excessive response charges" was also one of the reasons I decided to use ADT as my security provider originally. The property I resided in had numerous intruders who coming through the garden, hence why I chose to have a security company , who is to decide if it is a false alarm if the intruder had left already?

Finally when I cancelled my contract in October 2017, I agreed to a a cancellation fee if the next occupants of the house didn't take over the contract, expecting it to come off in November, after no communication since then, this fee come off at the end of December (two months later) causing my account to go into the negative, who is going to pay for those penalties?

ADT contacted me and resolved the last part of my complaint, I still have to pay a cancellation fee, despite the extra charges over and above what was agreed in the contract. I look forward to never dealing with them again.

We take note of your comments. These have been communicated to the relevant department.

You confirmed with the Credit Controller via e-mail, that you accept liability for the balance of contract, which is due, because you are still within your contract period.
